To be directly responsible for the maintenance of an effective cash management system and for controlling expenditure within the limits of the approved budget and warrant allocation in respect of the ministry’s Recurrent and Capital A and B heads.

To establish, maintain and develop the Units information systems and to improve the CMEB’s capacity to integrate IT in work processes by improving the decision-making capacity of the division.

The incumbent coordinates health and safety policies, conducts risk assessments, investigates accidents, manages training programmes, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains safety records while liaising with external stakeholders.

The incumbent manages information flow, schedules, and travel for the Minister/FS, handles visitor queries, processes correspondence, maintains confidential files, records meeting minutes, and oversees office equipment and supplies.

The incumbent monitors the MOFPS budget and financial performance, ensures regulatory compliance, prepares divisional plans, manages a designated investment portfolio, and provides reports on audit queries and budget-funded entities.

The incumbent directs the MOFPS budget preparation and cash management systems, advises the PFO, monitors expenditure reports against warrant limits, invests unused balances, and leads the team to ensure fiscal accountability.
