The incumbent prepares nutritious meals, supervises and trains kitchen staff, ensures food quality and hygiene standards, manages inventory, and supports hospital functions while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

The incumbent oversees hospital operations, projects, and resources at May Pen Hospital, ensuring efficiency, quality service delivery, financial control, compliance, safety, and staff performance in alignment with strategic objectives.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, psychological and psychosocial needs of the patient and share the responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Dietitian 2 and general direction of the clinical dietitian is responsible to supervise the production, distribution and service of meals and to educate patient and family members on therapeutic diets.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the ordering, receiving, storage, and issue of all items, in accordance with established departmental and governmental procedures.

Coordinates contact investigating for the parish and ensures the necessary investigations and location sources of sexually transmitted diseases and suspected contacts are done. Performs related functions of treatment and counseling.
