About the Role

Westinson Law PE Attorneys-at-Law is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in delivering efficient, professional legal services. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, document preparation, client communication, and case management across a range of practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with government agencies
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, letters, and court filings
  • Conduct legal research and summarise findings for attorneys
  • Assist with preparation for hearings, trials, and closings
  • Manage client files, records, and legal correspondence
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
  • Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and track deadlines
  • Perform general administrative and office support duties

Requirements

  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or related field
  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred
  • Strong legal drafting and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
