The incumbent analyzes business processes to enhance performance, applies project management methodologies to strategic initiatives, coordinates project activities, and maintains comprehensive documentation and reporting.

 

The incumbent is expected to perform the following duties:

  • Conduct business process analysis to identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement to enhance institutional performance.
  • Apply project management methodologies and tools to support the planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of strategic projects and programmes, including preparation of project charters and work plans.
  • Coordinate project meetings, documenting key decisions and following up on action items
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, user requirements, functional specifications and system requirements.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership and project teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stakeholder consultations, gather requirements, analyze and interpret organizational data to understand business needs and opportunities
  • Work with IT and data management teams to improve data collection, integration and reporting.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and feasibility analyses to support project planning.
  • Support project teams in identifying and managing project-related risks
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking of project deliverables, milestones and resource utilization.
  • Conduct environmental scans, research industry best practices and benchmarks for continuous institutionalimprovement.
  • Lead process elicitation meetings, workshops and stakeholder consultations.
  • Participate in communication efforts related to strategic and process improvement initiatives. 

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, process improvement or project management.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in higher education, public sector administration or enterprise management is an asset.
