Chief Internal Auditor

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and coordinates the internal audit function to the organization
• Communicates the internal audit activity plans to the Chief Executive and Audit Committee for review and approval
• Ensures that routine audits are carried out in accordance to the approved schedule
• Ensures that all audit findings are presented with recommendations for remedial action
• Prepares and maintains reports that evaluate the performance of internal audits
• Reports to the Audit Committee on significant risk exposures, control issues, corporate governance and other matters needed or requested by the Chief Executive and/or the Audit Committee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Fellowship - FCCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) plus five (5) years’ experience as a Senior Audit Officer or Audit Manager.
