The National Works Agency, an Executive Agency of the Government of Jamaica, is seeking suitably qualified individuals for the position of Field Officer.

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Four (4) CXC/GCE or equivalent including English and Mathematics, science and or building subjects preferred.
  • At least two (2) years working experience road construction/ traffic management environment.

 

CORE FUNCTION

  • Perform assigned tasks such as road marking, inspections or installation of traffic management equipment or apparatus.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

  • Reports to: Traffic Supervisor

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install and maintain traffic control devices.
  • Carry out inventory and collect any other relevant data as directed.
  • Operate small technical equipment and machinery as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
