The incumbent will be responsible for investigating and reporting on all disciplinary matters as well as serving as a member of disciplinary tribunals.

 

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Investigates all Disciplinary matters in accordance with the RHAs Code of Conduct Regulations.
  • Provides technical advice or guidance on Disciplinary matters and Tribunal Hearings to Managers and Supervisors to facilitate the propagation of good Industrial Relations practice throughout the Authority and to reduce the incidence of Indiscipline.
  • Liaises with Occupational Health and Safety Unit and Brokers regarding workplace incident and accidents investigations and reports.
  • Provides support to any department that may require investigative support such as Occupational Health and Safety or Legal.
  • Manages evidence; case files and matters of a sensitive nature to ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Conducts research, interprets and reports on investigative matters.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Degree in law, Criminal Justice or Industrial Relations, or a combination of equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • At least five (5) years' experience in a military/Law enforcement organization or related job field.
  • Experience in the conduct of investigations and reporting.
