Manager, Industrial Relations & Compensation Administration

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Develops, recommends, implements and monitors the application of Industrial Relations Policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of Human Resource Management Objectives.
• Participates in Negotiations for Collective Agreements as a member of the Authority’s Negotiating Team.
• Represents the Authority by arranging and conducting meetings with Majority Unions and adjudicating on disputes for settling Employees Grievances.
• Represents the Authority on Industrial Relations matters at established Arbitration/Mediation Institutions and at Negotiations with the Representative Bargaining Units.
• Manages Compensation administration for the Authority.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Labour Studies, Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification.
• Specific Training in Conflict Management and Compensation Management.
• At least five (5) years post qualification experience in a similar or related job function, two (2) of which would have been at middle or senior level management.
• Considerable Knowledge and experience in Labour Legislation and Regulations.
• Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
