Plant Operator

Eligibility Criteria for Plant Operator

• Must be 18 years or older 
• Technician Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or
• Have a sound Secondary Qualification 

Key responsibilities

• The role includes regulating raw water flow, operating chemical dosing systems, performing water quality tests, and maintaining accurate records.
• The role also includes equipment upkeep, such as cleaning filters, servicing pumps and valves, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards.
• Additionally, the employee will assist with maintenance tasks, manage materials and tools, and ensure proper shift handover procedures are followed.
