To ensure the health, safety and welfare of workers as stipulated by law by means of the inspection and auditing of factories, construction sites (including works of engineering construction), ships and docks and conducting accident investigations.
The Assistant Maître D’ is directly responsible for the operation and supervision of an assigned restaurant on the ship, crew mess or room service, and assisting with operations in the main dining rooms and buffet.
