The incumbent will drive public engagement, brand awareness, and behavior change by managing the Ministry's digital strategy, content production, and analytics while supporting promotional events and organizational communication goals.

The incumbent supervises histology and cytology services, performs autopsies, interprets specimens, and consults with clinical staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy, while providing training and outreach to support departmental standards.

The Pathologist performs surgical specimen trimming and autopsies, provides clinical-pathological insights for hospitals, ensures diagnostic integrity, maintains detailed reports, and educates medical staff to support clinical and forensic goals.

The incumbent manages the MyHR+ system by digitizing employee records, conducting regular data audits and mapping, ensuring database accuracy and security, and generating statistical reports to support human resource operations.

Under the direction of and in collaboration with Director of National Laboratory Services, plan, organize and control the technical operations of the surgical pathology, autopsy and cytology services of the MOH with island wide responsibilities.

The incumbent manages international health relations by coordinating with diplomatic partners and agencies, preparing policy briefings and reports, and representing the Ministry to advance Jamaica's public health interests and treaty commitments.
