Reporting to the Director, Public Procurement, the Administrator, Custom Clearance is responsible for the clearing and delivery of goods from the wharves to the Ministry of Health & Wellness and various institutions under the auspices of the Ministry

The incumbent coordinates full-cycle international sourcing and logistics for health professionals, updates SOPs, aligns staffing needs with RHAs, verifies candidate credentials, and monitors the training and onboarding processes.

The incumbent coordinates procurement activities, monitors policy compliance, and assists with branch budgeting and operational planning while managing supplier logistics, specifications, requisitions, and emergency reporting.

The incumbent manages respiratory, vaccine-preventable, and healthcare-acquired infection surveillance portfolios, prepares epidemiological reports, represents the unit globally, and provides technical guidance to field outbreak teams.

The incumbent manages commitment control and cash allocation by monitoring budgets, maintaining control registers, analyzing expenditure trends, and preparing weekly and monthly financial risk and outstanding commitment reports.
