We are seeking a Branch Service Administrator to join our growing team and drive the expansion of the Bank's presence within the financial market.

 

Position Overview:

The Branch Service Administrator represents the Bank with professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions. This position carries high visibility and requires comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s products, services, and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for greeting and directing customers, providing administrative support to the Retail Banking Unit, and ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness in all branch-related activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet, screen, and direct customers and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional branch environment while monitoring customer activity, particularly at the ATM area.
  • Assist customers with completing forms, navigating services, and addressing general inquiries.
  • Support branch sales initiatives by monitoring customer flow and cross selling the Bank’s full range of products and services.
  • Serve as a liaison for customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and escalating unresolved matters to the Assistant Manager, Service/Customer Experience Unit.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including receiving, logging, copying airway bills, sorting pouches, and assisting with internal distribution.
  • Prepare and distribute reports such as Absenteeism, Branch Traffic, and Tardiness reports by collecting and compiling relevant data accurately.
  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Branch Manager, Service, and other branch managers, including customer contact and follow-up activities.
  • Act as custodian for CASA and Fixed Deposit account files, ensuring secure daily filing of all new accounts opened by the branch.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of expired Not-for-Profit (NPO) registrations, contacting customers for renewal and updating branch management on status.
  • Assist customers with ATM card PIN setup and related service requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer service area always.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of lunchroom and stationery supplies, submitting timely reorders as required.
  • Report facility issues or maintenance needs to ensure a safe and efficient branch environment.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School diploma required, associate’s degree in Banking or a related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of branch and bank policies, procedures, and services to effectively direct customers.
  • Proficient in basic math.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including the ability to use the bank’s network and core banking applications, create memos, spreadsheets, and respond to emails.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to achieving departmental goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on effective time management.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, such as computers, calculators, printers, etc.
