Gardener (LMO/TS 1)

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to) 

To maintain cleanliness of the assigned locations in order to support a healthy and hygienic environment: 

• Rakes and sweeps compound; 
• Disposes trash; 
• Washes company vehicle; 
• Washes windows and corridor. 

To beautify the surrounding at the JCCF in order to give great aesthetic pleasure to its external and internal customers: 

• Applies whitewash to compound; 
• Cuts, mows and weeds the lawn and prunes trees to beautify the compound; Digs holes and plants trees; 
• Waters plants; 
• Trims gardens hedges; 
• Maintains a small agricultural garden; 
• Apply fertilizers/soil amendments for healthy plant growth, following best practices and safety guidelines 
• Checks health of plants. 

To provide support to facilitate the smooth operations of the JCCF: 

• Performs other related functions assigned. 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Secondary level education 
• One (1) year related work experience 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE JOB

• Normal working environment 
• May be required to work beyond the normal working hours;
• May be required to work on weekends and public holidays; 
• Exposure to chemicals 
• Office located some distance from the main entrance; 
• Maybe subjected to search based on JDF’s rule.
