To provide all manual labour associated with operation and maintenance of the production and distribution of water.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To operate the Extractors that de-sludge the sedimentation tanks. 
  • To assist and work along with Treatment Plant Operators in charging chemicals at the Treatment Plant. 
  • Cleaning of chemical tanks, pumps, agitator ponds, water strainers, filters modules, flume drains and canals, sludge pit, and the floors of working areas in the operation department of the division. 
  • Re-fuelling of standby generators tanks, bulk fuel storage tanks and cleaning of generator and generator room 
  • Perform manual labour jobs associated with Well maintenance and extraction of Well pumps and Well motors 
  • Perform all manual labour associated with operating and maintaining of the production and distribution of water 
  • Perform other duties related to the operation of the division as assigned by the immediate supervisor
