Manager - Land Acquisition

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• B.Sc. Real Estate Management and Valuation or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years related experience
• Working knowledge of Government procurement procedures

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

• Reports to: Senior Director, Project Implementation Division

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS

• To recommend the acquisition of land in keeping with established policies and procedures.
• To recommend the payment to landowners for affected structures/economic crops.
• The Manager will coordinate all activities from concept design showing affected parcels of land including:
  • Sketch plans
  • Serving of Notices
  • Securing legal access/permission from property owners
  • Payment for affected structure/economic crops
  • Tracking progress of pre-checked plans
  • Processing document from NLA
  • Manage a reliable filing system to account for each parcel for acquisition
• The officer will manage the acquisition of lands for New Projects and close out the acquisition of lands for Old Project.
