Occupational Therapist II

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Manages the activities of the Occupational Therapy Department.
• Manages and collaborates with the health care team to ensure patients are receiving the appropriate care and treatment
• Provides feedback to the Medical Director on opportunities to improve the review and therapy services and also medical equipment outcomes to patients based on standards and organizational policies.
• Conducts inventory control of equipment and supplies necessary for the Occupational Therapy area.
• Supervises Occupational Therapists/Aides/Interns and other categories of staff within the department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• University Degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent Certification with clinical training.
• At least three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar or related job function.
• Must be registered with the Council for the Professions Allied to Health.
• Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of qualifications, training and experience. Interested candidates are asked to submit their Curriculum Vitae with copies of all relevant academic certificates
