To ensure the implementation and application of approved Health Service Protocols, Systems and Procedures for assigned units so that targeted quality standards are achieved.

 

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Implements and ensures adherence to established Quality Guidelines, Systems, Standards and Protocols for assigned units.
  • Supervises Customer Relations Officers.
  • Establishes and maintain effective linkages between Departments within the Unit.
  • Ensures the implementation and application of systems required for achieving targets established in the Annual Health Services Agreement and/or Annual Business Plan.
  • Prepares and submits annual reports based on quarterly reviews.
  • Participates in the conduct of Quality Improvement Education Programmes.
  • Conduct surveys and research on customer satisfaction levels and health care quality issues, concerns or factors.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Degree in Health Management or Health Administration.
  • Certification in Quality Management.
  • At least three (3) years post qualification experience, two (2) of which should have been at a supervisory level or professional level in a similar/related job function.
  • Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of qualifications, training and experience. Interested candidates are asked to submit their Curriculum Vitae with copies of all relevant academic certificates.
