Oxygen Plant Operator (SOG/ST 3) - St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital

The ideal candidate will meet the following educational criteria:

• HEART NSTA Level 2 Certificate in Electrical or AC & Refrigeration 

Plus 

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in similar or industrial setting. 

Specific Knowledge Required:

• Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical or manufacturing maintenance background is an asset 
• Competent to do all the maintenance aspects such as preventive/ breakdown/ predictive/corrective/effective maintenance of compressor, refrigerant air drier, filters and drains, bacteria filter, silencers (mufflers), flow meter, different types of valves, pressure and temperature gauges, booster co 
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety guidelines. 

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Monitoring and overseeing plant operation to ensure proper functioning.
• Assisting with start-up, shutdown, and operations of the PSA plant equipment/machinery. 
• Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programmes are strictly adhered to the standards. 
• Performing operator level preventative maintenance activities of the PSA plant
• Perform all other related activities as may be assigned from time to time
