The incumbent protects bank assets and personnel by monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting patrols, and reporting security incidents.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Protect the Bank’s human resources and physical assets from harm/loss through the highly vigilant monitoring of premises, surroundings, and human behavior.
  • Act as the first point of contact for staff and visitors and guide them through the various security procedures required to gain access to the premises. This includes the operation of access control, visitor management, and identification systems.
  • Participate in, and assist with, the administration of the Bank’s Safety & Security Programme to enhance enterprise-wide safety and security knowledge.
  • Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to minimise risk and maintain security of premises.
  • Patrol the Bank’s premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, gates, entrances and exits.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates Degree or 60 College Credits.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Knowledge of security principles is a plus.
