The Central Bank of The Bahamas is looking for driven professionals committed to excellence, innovation and integrity.

 

Core Functions:

  • Supervise staff in the execution of the Department's operational functions.
  • Supervise the review of data submitted by Supervised Financial Institutions to ensure compliance with delegated authorized limits and for analysis purposes.
  • Support Management in the review and processing of Exchange Control applications relating to offshore borrowings, designation of companies, regulation of foreign capital flows, foreign investment projects and current account matters.

 

High-level Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, economics, finance, accounting, banking and finance, or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Strong knowledge of the Exchange Control Act, the Exchange Control Regulations, and related corporate and financial legislation.
  • Sound analytical and decision making skills.
