The incumbent inspects cleaned areas, manages room statuses, supports housekeeping operations, ensures safety, delivers guest service, performs physical tasks, and coordinates with teams to maintain quality standards.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, and prioritize cleaning.
  • Update departing guest room status and resolve discrepancies with Front Desk.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in daily operations and act as a liaison between departments.
  • Document and communicate room assignment changes and shift issues.
  • Complete required paperwork and reports.
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
  • Follow company safety policies, report hazards, and complete safety training.
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
  • Provide excellent guest service, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
  • Communicate professionally and build positive working relationships.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull objects (up to 55 lbs alone, more with assistance).
  • Operate housekeeping carts and machinery on uneven surfaces.
  • Perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, walking, reaching) for extended periods.
  • Use computers and POS systems for work-related tasks.
  • Visually verify information and perform other duties as requested.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
