Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, the Technical Specialist (Quantity Surveyor) provides construction, cost related and financial advice in order to facilitate the development of tourism related projects.
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of works, also, lifting and moving of equipment.
Oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Manage site operations, supervise teams, control costs, and maintain project documentation.
The incumbent prepares cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents; manages post-contract financials; monitors project costs; maintains cost records; and ensures projects align with budgets, contracts, and scope.

The incumbent manages the Division’s inventory, procurement, and documentation systems; supports PMAS implementation and staff onboarding; correspondence, and travel; and ensures secure, efficient information distribution and filing.
