Under the direction of Senior Investigator, the incumbent conducts investigation of new applicants to determine their suitability to hold a firearm. Investigating complaints regarding the breach of any term or condition of the firearm authorisation.

Conduct a programme of certification or de-certification of applicants, Firearm Instructors, Firearm Ranges and Practical Firearm Training Courses.

Conducting technical investigations with respect to complaints and breaches of any term of firearm authorisation.

To lead audit and assessment of internal policies and procedures to monitor adherence to internal controls and function to maintain the integrity of the organisation and its operations.

The Executive Assistant manages the CEO's schedule, correspondence, travel, and meetings, processes board and cabinet submissions, coordinates communications, and tracks follow-up actions across departments.

To process and prepare payment vouchers and provide support for the Authority’s payment system and procedures.

The incumbent advises the Firearm Licensing Authority on privacy compliance, manages data protection obligations, conducts impact assessments, and supports the implementation of its privacy program.
