We are seeking an experienced Branch Sales Administrator to join our dynamic Retail Banking Team and support the achievement of key business goals.

 

Position Overview:

The Branch Sales Administrator plays a critical role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Branch Sales Team. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities by performing a wide range of tasks with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and timely execution. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet, pre-screen, and direct loan customers effectively.
  • Schedule loan appointments for clients, either in person, by phone, or as directed.
  • Maintain a log of loan customer interactions.
  • Address and mediate customer complaints, escalating unresolved issues to the Assistant Branch Manager, Sales/Customer Experience Unit.
  • Generate and complete the Daily Clearing report for review by Branch Management and Relationship Officers.
  • Assist in completing credit reference letters in collaboration with the Relationship Officer, Assistant Branch Manager, Sales, and Branch Manager.
  • Ensure proper completion of loan booking documents.
  • Prepare loan disbursement cheques once authorized by the Loan Administration Department (LAD).
  • Ensure original collateral security documents are forwarded to the Collateral Securities Unit.
  • Maintain loan files according to the Bank’s standards, ensuring proper organization and filing for each loan granted.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by management.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School diploma required; Associate’s degree in Banking or a related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of branch and bank policies, procedures, and services to effectively direct customers.
  • Proficient in basic math.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including the ability to use the bank’s network and core banking applications, create memos, spreadsheets, and respond to emails.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to achieving departmental goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on effective time management.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, such as computers, calculators, printers, etc.
