The incumbent analyzes, designs, and implements enterprise systems, coordinates complex automation projects, and formulates new business strategies to drive organizational change.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in the analysis, design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise applications and systems to deliver complex organizational change projects for use throughout the Bank.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in multiple complex business automation projects, ensuring the efficient, on-time, and cost-effective delivery of project tasks and milestones.
  • Formulate and recommend new business strategies and models, considering all aspects and providing insight into how these strategies will benefit the Bank.
  • Collaborating with senior management, team members and others; articulating ideas and viewpoints.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management, Management Information Systems or related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience as a business analyst or in a comparable role with a strong focus on process reengineering, systems, and technical design.
  • Proven experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions while working in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, repositories and all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong Issue Management, Risk Management, Vendor Management and Change Management knowledge and experience.
  • Sound knowledge of developing technical requirements, system design and execution. Proficiency with API’s, Cloud Technology, software and hardware requirements is a plus.
  • Experience with statistical and data reporting languages and solutions, such as IBM Cognos, Power BI and Tableau, are a plus.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative with the ability to see opportunities for improvement; takes ownership and closely works with the infrastructure and development teams to drive modernized and optimal solutions development for the Bank; results-oriented.
  • Demonstrates sound analytical, problem-solving, prioritizing, debugging, troubleshooting, and communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
  • Able to compile and organize information and present findings and recommendations to management. Good judgement and sound reasoning ability.
  • Excellent presentation, training skills and experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills for both technical and business environments.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently on complex technical projects and on a team of technical professionals and relevant decision-makers.
