CORE FUNCTIONS

This role is responsible for warmly welcoming guests upon arrival, escorting them to their accommodations, and ensuring a seamless and elevated arrival and departure experience. The Butler Valet expertly handles guest luggage, including transport, storage, and retrieval, while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include assisting guests and visitors with vehicle arrivals and departures, including loading and unloading luggage, and coordinating transportation arrangements such as taxis, luxury sedans, and shuttle services. The Butler Valet serves as a knowledgeable resource, offering directions, recommendations, and tailored assistance to enhance the overall guest experience.

The role also involves providing detailed orientation of guest rooms and resort amenities; communicating information regarding hotel services, operating hours, and local attractions; and anticipating guest needs throughout their stay. 

The Butler Valet will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for delivering luxury service; Professional appearance, polished demeanor, and the ability to represent a luxury brand with confidence and sophistication; The ability to anticipate guest needs and provide discreet, personalized service; Strong organizational skills and attention to details; and The ability to safely handle guest luggage and remain active throughout the workday.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: One (1) year of experience in a luxury hotel
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
