The Casino Surveillance Agent monitors casino operations via CCTV, investigates irregular activities, responds to disturbances, and documents all safety incidents.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS

Surveillance & Irregular Activity Monitoring

  • Observe casino or casino hotel operations for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by employees or patrons.
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm system, and duress alarms to ensure that any unusual behavior or emergency situation is dispatched to appropriate personnel for investigation and recorded.

Incident Response & Disturbance Management

  • Call for assistance using proper code responses.
  • Defuse guest or employee disturbances/altercations in accordance with company policies and procedures, including summoning appropriate authorities if necessary, and documenting incident.

Incident Reporting & Documentation

  • Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents such as theft, accidents, physical hazards, and fire alarms.

Company Standards & Professionalism

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Physical Requirements

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance.
