URC seeking an experienced consultant to join our multidisciplinary team to evaluate a development program focused on food security and resilience in Haiti through community-driven cash-for-work projects and small-scale infrastructure improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the quality, relevance, and resilience of small community works and basic infrastructure.
  • Review rehabilitation works in health facilities.
  • Evaluate safety, environmental compliance, and community impact.
  • Conduct field verification and provide technical inputs to the evaluation team.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10+ years’ experience with small-scale, community-driven infrastructure and labor-intensive public works.
  • Experience with health facility rehabilitation in low-resource settings strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ESPS compliance and gender/GBV-sensitive design.
  • Experience with donor-funded programs (IDB, WB, UN, USAID) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; Written and spoken French required (Creole is an asset).
