This role assists in private client portfolio management, ensures compliant onboarding, coordinates marketing initiatives, processes investments, and provides operational support for brokerage and custody services.

 

Client Services Associate, Wealth Management

The successful candidate will report to the Relationship Manager, Private Banking and will be responsible for attending to client queries, performing administrative tasks, processessing custody client trades, audit confirmations, and support in producing reports.  The successful candidate will be detail-orientated, and a person that is driven to provide exceptional client service and has the ability to investigate a problem through to its satisfactory resolution.


Your responsibilities will include:

Private Banking

  • Assisting the Relationship Manager with the daily administration and relationship management of their portfolio of clients
  • Interacting with Clients through meetings and specific events
  • Supporting the on-boarding of clients in line with Group and regulatory compliance standards
  • Interacting with the Bank’s marketing team regarding marketing materials and events pertaining to Private Banking clients
  • Assisting in the completion of on-going transaction analysis

Investment Operations

  • Providing relevant administrative support services to brokerage, custody, and discretionary clients
  • Running and distributing adhoc reports to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all custody trade information is entered in a timely manner
  • Processing of investment fees quarterly and/or monthly
  • Processing client internal transfers

 

About the team

The Wealth Management team helps our clients to grow, manage and preserve their wealth through a selection of investment products, credit facilities and banking products and services.


Your qualifications and skills include:

  • Associate’s degree in business and three years’ practical banking experience
  • at least two years previous experience in an Investment Services environment
  • be proficient and competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • the ability to meet tight deadlines 
  • the ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
  • the ability to establish good working relationships with clients, employees and prospective clients
  • a good understanding of security settlement rules
  • the ability to work well within a small team to ensure tasks are completed
