Facility Coordinator

JOB OVERVIEW

To assist in coordinating and managing the facilities management/maintenance and upgrade of the physical infrastructure of the Authority's Health Institutions with special priority being given to Port of Spain General Hospital to ensure the achievement of the Authority's Health Sector goals and objectives.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of subordinate staff through the established structures of the units in various job disciplines.
• Ensures that established operational policies and procedures for maintenance works and upgrades are strictly adhered to.
• Assists with the management and coordination of waste disposal
• Implements preventative maintenance initiatives/activities.
• Performs regular site visits to satellite health facilities to control and manage any building or operational requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• A Degree in Project Management and/or Technician Diploma in a related field.
• Certification in Building Management/Construction or Engineering.
• Certification in Occupational Safety & Health.
• Formal Training in Supervisory Management.
• At least three (3) years' experience in a similar or related job function.
• Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of qualifications, training and experience.
