Hospital Administrator (GHPOS & SJMC)

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Plans, organizes, directs and controls hospital operations so as to ensure the achievement of established work targets, objectives and standards within the health sector.
• Ensures the application and implementation of appropriate and/or established operational policies and procedures for hospital administration.
• Selects, develops and monitors the utilization of subordinate personnel so as to create and maintain effective levels of productivity
• Prepares required operational, informational and management reports or studies as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• Postgraduate accreditation in Hospital Administration, Health Services Administration or an equivalent qualification.
• At least six (6) years' experience in a similar or related job function, three (3) of which should have been at middle or senior management level.
• Certification in Engineering and/or Facilities Management would be considered an asset.
• At least 3-5 years experience in Engineering and/or Facilities Management would be considered an asset.
• Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of qualifications, training and experience.
