The incumbent ensures accurate financial record-keeping, processes accounting transactions, reconciles accounts, prepares reports, manages cash handling, and maintains compliance with company policies while supporting team operations.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS

Accounting & Financial Responsibilities:

  • Verify accuracy of financial figures, postings, and documents
  • Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents per policies
  • Record, store, and analyze computerized financial data
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial information using journals, ledgers, or software
  • Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
  • Generate, review, and reconcile bills, invoices, and account statements
  • Resolve past-due accounts and vendor invoices
  • Consolidate daily cash deposits from all cash-handling staff
  • Track, document, and address cash variances
  • Manage cashier banks and contracts

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and guest information
  • Ensure professional appearance and conduct
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Answer phones with proper etiquette

Team & Physical Requirements:

  • Lift/carry up to 10 pounds
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
