The incumbent provides comprehensive administrative and HR support, managing records, assisting employees and candidates, ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining office operations, and supporting team goals professionally and efficiently.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS

Filing and Documentation

  • Create and maintain filing systems.
  • Create and type office correspondence using a computer.
  • Maintain employee records, files, and confidential information accurately.
  • Create new employee personnel files and maintain I-9s and interview documents.

Mail and Office Management

  • Distribute and route mail.
  • Order and track HR office supplies and forms.
  • Maintain application space, ensuring cleanliness and accessibility.

Employee and Candidate Support

  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures.
  • Respond to questions and concerns from employees and management regarding HR policies, programs, and guidelines.
  • Inform HR management of employee relations issues.

Communication and Professionalism

  • Answer phone calls, record messages, and use professional etiquette.
  • Speak and prepare written documents clearly and accurately.
  • Welcome guests and maintain professional appearance.

Teamwork and Compliance

  • Develop positive working relationships; support team goals.
  • Follow company policies, report accidents, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computer systems.

Physical Tasks

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects ≤10 pounds.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
