BNT seeks to engage an Office Custodian who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment throughout the workplace. This includes offices, public areas, restrooms, and kitchen facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all offices and public areas, ensuring a tidy and professional environment.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, stalls, and floors, on a regular schedule.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets as needed.
  • Dust and polish furniture, desks, fixtures, and windows to maintain a dust-free environment.
  • Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from bins in all designated areas.
  • Ensure restrooms and kitchen disposables are fully stocked at all times.
  • Monitor and track cleaning supply inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels; report when replenishment is needed.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances and surfaces, including dishes, coffee makers, teapots, refrigerators, and countertops.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma.
  • Previous experience in custodial or janitorial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Knowledge of proper handling and safe disposal of cleaning agents, chemical liquids, and other potentially hazardous materials.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
