Personal Banking Representative

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving requests from clients either in-person or by written instructions, and ensuring that they are acted upon while adhering to Bank policies and procedures. This includes:
  • Opening and closing accounts following established procedures, which includes completion of relevant forms, performing due diligence tasks, analysing results, and preparing account opening packages for review. 
  • Scanning application packages and various documents into electronic folders.
  • Performing maintenance on accounts including address changes, signatory amendments, or changes to static data.
  • Completing applications for credit/debit cards.
  • Transferring of funds between accounts.
  • Setting up standing orders.
• Handling general inquiries and complaints or referring clients to the appropriate departments.
• Cross-selling Bank products and keeping abreast of new products and services.
• Ensuring that due diligence is applied as it relates to the Bank Code of Conduct and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.

Your qualifications and skills include:

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications with four years of retail banking experience.
• Complete understanding of bank policies and procedures.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A strong knowledge of core banking systems would be an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with a wide range of banking products.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with customers in a mature and professional manner.
