The incumbent will be responsible for the coordination of an efficient transport service/system within the Authority to ensure the delivery of quality health care service within the Authority.

 

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Manages maintenance, repairs inspections and accidents insurance of vehicles.
  • Manages the Transport Services within the Authority.
  • Arranges transport in cases of emergencies, absence of drivers or vehicle breakdown.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety guidelines including other policies; regulations in keeping with the health care operations.
  • Performance Management – evaluates/disciplines staff in accordance with policy guidelines and ensures the delivery of effective customer care services.
  • Liaises with the Human Resource Department for hiring.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A University Degree preferably in Management.
  • Appropriate training in Auto Mechanics/Vehicle Engineering.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's Permit with at least five (5) years driving experience without violations.
  • Five (5) years' experience in a related job function.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
