Security Guard

Primary Responsibilities

• Secure property grounds by conducting regular patrols
• Ensure all visitors and staff adhere to safety and regulator protocols with assigned area.
• Ensure visitors are aware of rules and guidelines as required
• Monitor public access and ensure the security of all personnel and visitors
• Investigate and provide detailed reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety concerns, and other security related situations
• Notify direct report or any member of management to contact relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs
• Record any suspicious activities and notify direct report immediately
• Provide needed assistance to employees and visitors
• Any other reasonable request relevant to the scope of your duties

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma plus 1 year related experience or equivalent combination.
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential; organize time efficiently and work independently.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have good oral and written skills.
