The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with policies, resolving guest and service center inquiries, and supporting operational efficiency while upholding professionalism and confidentiality.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents per policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as required.
  • Respond to and resolve questions, issues, or disputes from Marriott’s Shared Service Center/guests.
  • Process customer tax exemptions per government regulations.
  • Review, reconcile, and process credit card vouchers and advance deposits.
  • Monitor and audit gift certificate and incentive award redemption activity.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Protect company assets and maintain the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs while assisting employees for smooth operations.
  • Communicate professionally, prepare and review documents accurately, and answer telephones appropriately.
  • Foster positive working relationships, support teamwork, and address employee concerns.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
