Background: Grenada’s economy depends on climate-sensitive sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and construction, which are highly exposed to extreme weather and sea-level rise.

The incumbent provides technical expertise and coordination to support legislative projects, including analyzing legal implications, drafting consultation papers, managing stakeholder engagement, and advising on customs laws and best practices.

The incumbent manages the full project lifecycle and portfolio operations, including planning, delegating tasks, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery while facilitating stakeholder communication and mentoring staff.

Under the supervision of the Director, Special Projects, the Project Coordinator, manages the implementation of projects in order to contribute to the improvement, expansion and diversification of the tourism product in the assigned region.

The incumbent analyzes business cases, designs infrastructure project plans, oversees schedules, administers construction engineering activities, manages project budgets, and conducts quality and safety risk assessments.
