JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide and maintain a consistent high level of customer service to all patients and customers in accordance with the Hospital’s policy. Greet customers and associates immediately. The Cashier is responsible for the registration of outpatient services to Doctors Hospital, ensuring that the necessary deposits and co-pays are collected, insurance benefits are verified, claim forms, assignment of benefits, and patient records are signed. Accept payments from customers for hospital services rendered giving receipts for the same. Daily, balance cash, checks and credit cards against the Cash Reconciliation Report. Maintain an adequate inventory and report to work as scheduled. Answer patient queries in an informed manner and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors of
Patient Registration.
