Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

Under the direction of the Director, Technical Services, the MEP Engineer provides professional engineering support in the design, evaluation, installation and oversight of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across Ministry of Justice facilities, including courthouses managed by the Court Administration Division (CAD).

This ensures that critical justice infrastructure is planned, constructed and maintained in alignment with technical standards, safety regulations and the Ministry’s modernization goals. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; 
• Four (4) years’ Post Graduate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;
• Advanced training in Project Management, Certification would be an asset eg. PMP; 
• Knowledge of Photovoltaic Systems would be an asset.
