POSITION OVERVIEW

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Oncologist to diagnose and treat patients with various types of cancer. As a member of our multidisciplinary oncology team, you will provide personalized and evidence-based care, collaborate with other specialists, and contribute to the advancement of cancer care through research and innovation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer.
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medical oncology treatments.
  • Monitor and manage side effects of treatment and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on cancer treatment options, prognosis, and lifestyle management.
  • Conduct clinical research to improve cancer treatment outcomes and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and collaborate on treatment protocols and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to oncology nurses, medical residents, and fellows.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD or DO degree with board certification/board eligibility in Medical Oncology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license.
  • Thorough knowledge of current cancer treatment protocols and emerging therapies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fellowship training in Medical Oncology.
  • Experience in clinical research or involvement in oncology trials.
  • Additional certifications or expertise in specific cancer types or treatment modalities.
