On Call Part-Time After School Programme Leader

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate after school learning and recreation/enrichment activities (such as organized sports, games/physical activities, dance, arts and crafts, and when necessary, homework).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of one-year experience working with children preferred 
• Must be able to work 2:45 pm – 5:30 pm during the school term 
• Willing to work camps during school breaks 
• An Associate’s degree or Certificate in Child Care would be an asset 
• A valid SCARS certification would be preferred 
• A valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification would be preferred

• Must be a reliable, enthusiastic team player with good communication and organizational skills 
• Must be creative, energetic and patient 
• Caring nature and enjoys interacting with children of different ages 
• Attendance and good time-keeping is essential 
• Clean criminal record
