Reporting to the Oxygen Plant Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the plant operation to ensure proper functioning at all times.

 

The ideal candidate will meet the following educational criteria:

  • HEART NSTA Level 2 Certificate in Electrical or AC & Refrigeration 

Plus 

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in similar or industrial setting. 

 

Specific Knowledge Required:

  • Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical or manufacturing maintenance background is an asset 
  • Competent to do all the maintenance aspects such as preventive/ breakdown/ predictive/corrective/ effective maintenance of compressor, refrigerant air drier, filters and drains, bacteria filter, silencers (mufflers), flow meter, different types of valves, pressure and temperature gauges, booster co 
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety guidelines. 

 

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and overseeing plant operation to ensure proper functioning.
  • Assisting with start-up, shutdown, and operations of the PSA plant equipment/machinery. 
  • Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programmes are strictly adhered to the standards. 
  • Performing operator level preventative maintenance activities of the PSA plant
  • Perform all other related activities as may be assigned from time to time
