The project lead coordinates the technical, operational, and financial execution of youth-focused programs, manages stakeholder partnerships, oversees staff training and implementation, and ensures rigorous monitoring and reporting of impact.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise the technical, operational and financial execution of the three results according to the logical framework, schedule and budget, leading a small team focused on maximum impact on children, adolescents and youth.
  • Become certified in the SportNet methodology (FC Barcelona Foundation) and act as a trainer of trainers, train teachers and support the SportNet Educator in the application of SportNet, Youth Ready and Unlock Literacy.
  • Negotiate and maintain alliances with educational centers, educational district, local authorities, companies and community actors to link adolescents and young people with employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.
  • Supervise and ensure the correct implementation of the project components, coordinating the facilitating team and ensuring the technical quality of the interventions.
  • Monitor the indicators together with DMEAL (pre/post measurements), collect the means of verification and prepare the technical and narrative reports for World Vision and the FC Barcelona Foundation.
  • Ensure budget execution, procurement processes and compliance with World Vision policies and child safeguarding, in coordination with Finance, Procurement and Communication of the national office.

 

Requirements

  • Experience implementing social or educational projects (preferably with international cooperation)
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in project management and coordination, training and development of teams and teachers, generation and negotiation of alliances with public, private and community actors, and work with children, adolescents and youth.
  • University degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Project Management, Community Development or related fields.
  • Training/Certification in Social Project Management.
  • Ability to manage, negotiate and lead small, impact-oriented teams.
  • Proficiency in project planning, monitoring, and management tools.
  • Desirable experience in sport development methodologies.
  • Availability to travel both nationally and internationally.
