Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Protect the Bank’s human resources and physical assets from harm/loss through the highly vigilant monitoring of premises, surroundings, and human behavior.
• Act as the first point of contact for staff and visitors and guide them through the various security procedures required to gain access to the premises. This includes the operation of access control, visitor management, and identification systems.
• Participate in and assist with the administration of the Bank’s Safety & Security Programme to enhance enterprise-wide safety and security knowledge.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to minimize risk and maintain security of premises.
• Patrol Bank premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, gates, entrances and exists.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• None (Probationary Training).
• Knowledge of security principles.
