KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

Conceptualize and execute Programmes aimed at:

  • Conceptualize, Strategize, Formulate and Execute Corporate Media Engagement on behalf of GPL.
  • Manage and coordinate all internal and external engagement on behalf of GPL.
  • Conceptualize and Produce publications on GPL’s Operations.
  • Manage and coordinate the placement of GPL’s Advertisements
  • Manage GPL’s Corporate Website Content.
  • Manage, Supervise and Coordinate Public Relations Operations.
  • Coordinate administrative work for all Corporate Communications Events.
  • Advise GPL’s Executive Management on key stakeholder matters regarding GPL’s Operations.
  • Attend meetings
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Building an impeccable corporate image for GPL.
  • Increasing revenue collection through Public Relations activities.
  • Improving employee morale.
  • Recommend, develop, implement and assist with the dissemination of publications on GPL’s Operations and methods that ensure a continuous flow of information and feedback.
  • Keep staff informed and involved in developments and events taking place in the Company.
  • Recommend, develop, implement, maintain and evaluate matters and methods to ensure timely communication to the internal and external publics.
  • Populate, manage, maintain and coordinate the content population of the Company’s website with all relevant information regarding GPL’s Operations on a daily, weekly, annual, as well as, on an ad hoc basis.
  • Devise and implement methods to improve the Company’s social relationship with customers, especially in our host communities.
  • Implement Public Relations/Marketing activities relevant to the functions of the Unit.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Communication/Mass Communication or equivalent with at least three (3) years relevant experience
