Senior Developer Analyst, IT

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise application and report design, development, modification, and documentation projects to deliver complex organizational change for use throughout the Bank.
• Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or systems functional specifications.
• Lead and/or participate in multiple complex business automation projects ensuring efficient and on time and cost-effective delivery of project tasks and milestones.
• Collaborate with senior management, team members and others on application develop and modification projects; articulating ideas and viewpoints.
• Contribute to the overall shared services function and assist in the overall management of the Information Technology Department, including contributing to the formulation of department goals, objectives, policies, priorities, workflow management; bench-strength development and coordinating work to promote and achieve strategic goals and activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• A minimum of seven (7) years professional experience in software engineering and/or application and report development with proven experience leading or coordinating complex software development projects.
• Sound knowledge of high-level programming languages.
• Sound knowledge of emerging technologies in the information technology field.
• Sound knowledge of accounting, banking and/or financial procedures.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience are a plus.
