The supervisor manages team operations and service delivery, ensuring accurate transaction processing, reconciliation, and compliance with SLAs while coaching staff to maintain efficient workflows and meet performance standards.

 


General Accountability:
 
The Supervisor, Business Support assists branches and departments with the timely and accurate processing of customer transactions in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role includes overseeing processing staff, ensuring compliance with Bank standards, and supporting the overall productivity of the Business Support Unit.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support Associates to ensure efficient processing and delivery of services in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Review and distribute incoming requests (e.g., wire transfers, fixed deposits, standing instructions) to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to processing.
  • Authorize and verify transactions in Flexcube and SWIFT, ensuring all information is accurate and documentation is properly completed.
  • Monitor and respond to SWIFT messages and assist with the release of wire transfers as required.
  • Oversee reconciliation activities and ensure suspense accounts and outstanding items are cleared in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely processing and dispatch of bill payment files to vendors (e.g., BPL, BTC, Aliv, etc.).
  • Manage team performance, including coaching staff, monitoring workload distribution, and supporting employee development.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent, or one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in branch network operations or a similar environment.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in the Flexcube banking system would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of SWIFT messaging and international wire transfer processing, including transaction verification and release procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the use of standard office equipment including calculators, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong speed and accuracy in processing information.
  • Ability to process information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
