This position requires the teaching of Business at iGCSE, IB Diploma (Standard/Higher Levels) and A-Level. The successful candidate will also be required to teach Enterprise in Year 9. Experience in teaching Economics would be an advantage.
The successful candidate should hold strong academic qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject, formal teacher training certification (e.g. BEd, MEd, PGCE/QTS) as well as proven success and a minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching the subject. Prospective teachers should also be able to integrate technology in the classroom and must either have, or meet the qualifications to obtain, a current Bermuda Teacher’s License.
